Advanced Teen Ensemble

Advanced Teen students devise an original play and participate in skill-based intensives. ATE meets two times a week and will perform at the end of the semester.

This program requires an elevated level of commitment and work from our students. Audition required. New student auditions can be scheduled on a case by case basis. Please contact Laurel Crowe for an audition appointment (education@get.org).

Spring shows are April 25-27, 2023 with technical/dress rehearsals April 28-30, 2023.

Learn all about musical theatre performance in this fast-paced, fun and challenging theatre camp.

Mornings are spent learning dance, singing, improvisation and audition. In the afternoon, students dive deep into acting, musical theatre performance and production classes.

All students will perform for family at 5:00PM on the final day of camp!

Our Intermediate Ensemble is a performance group who create a one-act production two times a year. Original and scripted works, this program is for middle school and advanced elementary school students who are ready for the next level of challenge and training.

This class is appropriate for upper elementary and middle grade students who have prior experience and are looking for an elevated training experience.

This semester we will be producing original plays written and devised by our own students.

This program requires and elevated level of commitment. Previous classes/camps suggested. Wednesdays- 6:00-8:00PM Saturdays- 10:00AM-12:00PM.

CLASSES ON SATURDAY, APRIL 15 & 22 will be from 12-2PM.

Technical & Dress rehearsals are April 25, 26 & 27, 2023 from 5:00-8:00PM.

Shows are April 28 & 29 at 7PM.

Calling all Elementary grade Imagination Investigators! Unlock the mysteries of imagination in this action-packed acting experience. Movement, music, creative dramatics, and storytelling in this 3-day theatre intensive for our youngest thespians.

This camp requires prior experience. Participation in a prior camp or class with GET is required. Due to the popularity of this experience, no exceptions will be made.  

Before Annie had her hard knock life or Matilda was a "little bit naughty", a young orphan named OLIVER made his way in the world. 

Consider yourself at home with Oliver! JR., the Broadway Junior version of Lionel Bart's classic musical based on Charles Dickens' novel, Oliver Twist. The Tony and Olivier Award-winning show is one of the few musicals to win an Academy Award for Best Picture and is widely hailed as a true theatrical masterpiece by actors and audience members alike.

The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family.

Oliver! JR. is full of classic songs like "Consider Yourself", "Food Glorious Food", and "Oom-Pah-Pah", and perfectly showcases the talents of a large ensemble cast.

From audition to a weekend of performances, students and faculty work together to create a magical and professional performance experience. 

Students work with professional directors, designers and choreographers culminating in wildly innovative and creative productions.

All students participate in strike following the final performance on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Do you have a child who "wants to be a YouTube Star" when they grow up? Have you tried to master a TikTok dance? Ever seen sketch comedy & improv online? This camp will teach how to create quality content, while learning safety and respect on online platforms. Student work will be showcased on GET social media platforms (while protecting student privacy) with a special short showcase of both live and recorded pieces on the last day.

An exciting and focused 4-day intensive where students learn a wide variety of theatre classes; everything from Improv to dance, Movement, Acting, editing, best practices and more. 

This is a perfect camp for veteran theatre students who are looking to brush up their skills AND new students looking to explore a new craft!

Students will perform selected pieces for family on the final day of camp at 5PM.
