About the Plays:
S.T.E.A.M. Team, by Topher Payne
October 18 and November 9, 2024
Meet Scout, Taylor, Elliot, Aubrey and Misha--five friends who use their interests in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to solve mysteries and problems in their own back yards. Growing up means growing apart when the group heads to middle school, but when one of their own is targeted by a bully at the science fair, the team gets back together for one more mystery. (This play is also a GET Travel Team performance - on tour to schools around the state during the fall semester.)
Destination Theatre's The Greatest Story Ever Told By Two People or... A Christmas Carol?
December 12-15, 2024
This two-person performance by Destination Theatre is full of improv, music, and audience interaction. A Christmas Carol meets Whose Line Is It Anyway? in a fast-paced, cobbled-together extravaganza.
Leave Your Fears Here, by James Morrison
January 15-26, 2025
In this intensely personal one-man play, actor James Morrison (who you probably know from TV's 24) recounts his beloved son's struggle with and ultimate recovery from brain cancer. It is a tale of losing a language and learning a new one, of a child teaching the parent, and the power of hope in the darkest of times. James takes you on a journey that affirms love and human connection as the antidote to fear and despair. On Opening Night, every ticketholder will be welcome to a post-show reception and chat with James Morrison! Tickets for this extra-special production will be available beginning October 1.
A Wrinkle in Time, by John Glore, based on the novel by Madeline L'Engle
February 20-March 2, 2025
Out of a wild night, a strange visitor comes to the Murry house and beckons Meg, her brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin O’Keefe on a most dangerous and extraordinary adventure – one that will threaten their lives and our universe. A thrilling adventure for all ages. Based on the Newberry Medal-winning novel.
Don Farrell Double Feature: All the Way and Sweet Caroline
April 10-13, 2025
GET favorite Don Farrell brings us his famed tribute shows exploring the lives & music of Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond.
All the Way: Song after stylish song like “Summer Wind,” “One for My Baby,” “In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” and many others. Not an impersonation, but an appreciation! You’ll be tapping your toes to these choice arrangements while anecdotes and fun stories of Ol’ Blue Eyes are interspersed throughout. (April 10 at 7:30, April 12 at 2:30, and April 14 at 2:30)
Sweet Caroline: Don Farrell the story of Neil Diamond’s rise from humble roots in working-class Brooklyn to global success. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, by William Shakespeare
June 14-29, 2025
It’s summertime and you’re headed into the woods to look for peace & quiet, shade, or maybe anonymity. Along the path, you’ll meet others looking for the same things. If one or two of them happen to be powerfully magical, and one or two of them happen to be in love with someone unexpected, and they bump into a group of amateur actors trying to rehearse a tragedy, well...it might all make for a hilarious, enchanted adventure. The whole family will find something charming in this funny, abbreviated version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream that uses the natural world as inspiration. Stories grow on trees around here, and you’re invited to dream a story with us.
PLUS! The No-Drama Comedy Show, a monthly clean comedy night! Dates and comics are listed at the ticket link below.

We've Moved!
Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET) is now located on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs!
All performances, classes, and administration are now located in the Act3 Playhouse at 6285-R Roswell Rd. We can't wait to welcome you to the new space! After losing our 31-year performance space at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, GET has been working to find a new home that's just the right fit. Now we're ready to settle in and offer productions of the excellent quality you're accustomed to in a more intimate, personal setting.
We are grateful to Act3 Productions for welcoming us to move in!
The Act3 Playhouse location offers several exciting features! There is plenty of parking, always free. It’s on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, a mile north of I-285, or only about 2 miles from GA-400. (That’s a 19-minute ride from downtown Roswell, and even easier to reach for our many patrons who live in East Cobb or Dunwoody/Sandy Springs.) The 99-seat theatre has great sightlines, a nearly-new lighting & sound package, and amazing air conditioning. Within walking distance are a dozen tempting restaurants and bakeries, not to mention fun shops and the green space of City Springs Lawn. Seating will be limited compared to our larger heritage spaces, but every seat has a terrific, up-close-and-personal view!
All seating at the playhouse this season will be general admission, so Season Tickets look a little different this year. All subscriptions will move to a Flex Pass format. (If you held over your season tickets from 2023-24, we’ll be in touch with you about how to use them!) To order your Season Flex Passes, tap the button below.
The GET At Act3 Playhouse location is 6285-R Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, on the back of the Sandy Springs Plaza shopping center behind Henri’s Bakery, Five Guys Burgers, and Trader Joe’s. Our phone number, website, and email addresses remain the same, as does our mailing address of PO Box 607, Roswell, GA 30077.
