Welcome to a future not too far away from now, where there is no war or conflict, no fear or pain, and no choices. Everyone in the community celebrates sameness and knows their assigned place, except for young Jonas. He feels different, and being different is dangerous. Upon turning twelve, Jonas is chosen for a special role: to receive and keep the memories of a history forgotten by the public. The lesson he must learn is: To find freedom, first seek the truth. Based on the Newbery Award-winning novel by Lois Lowry, this play will provoke conversation and celebrate what makes each of us unique. Suitable for ages 10 and up.
About 2 hours long, including the intermission. Tickets start at $34 for adults, $31 for seniors, and $19 for students.
Performance times: Thursdays 7:30, Fridays 7:30, Saturdays 2:30 & 7:30, Sundays 2:30.

- PRIME: Reserved seats on the aisle. (Green in the chart below.) Your accompanying drink ticket will be taped to the chair. You may exchange that ticket for one canned drink or coffee/tea, or for one cup if you use the BYOB protocol.
- GENERAL: All other seating. (Pink in the chart below.) Unreserved. First-come, first-serve choice of seating.
