And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank recounts the story of two childhood friends of Anne Frank and their experiences of hiding, capture and imprisonment during the Holocaust. You'll see video interviews with the survivors, while professional actors portray them on stage. Part oral history, part dramatic interpretation, this powerful multi-media performance has been produced annually at GET since 1997. The hour-long performance will open your heart with curiosity and compassion. This is what live theatre does especially well--moving a big idea like the Holocaust into the realm of personal understanding and connection. Get an inside look at what it was like to live through this significant period of history. After every performance, the artists host a short Q&A to talk about the historical events and the process of creating the production.

And Then They Came for Me goes on tour in March and is available for performances at schools, synagogues, community centers, and other locations. (More details about the tour below.) The show performs with tickets for the public on our mainstage March 16th and 23rd.

Book a performance of And Then They Came For Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank for your school or organization. We can perform in nearly any space - most commonly, "cafetoriums," gyms, libraries, and of course, school theatres. The Travel Team brings the set, costumes, and all our own sound equipment - you just provide space and access to power! We travel throughout Georgia. (Additional fees will apply for locations more than 50 miles from GET Studio in Roswell.) Recommended for 5th grade and up. For information about booking, email booking@nullget.org. (Please allow 48 hours for a response.)

We are proud to help schools teach students the important lessons of the Holocaust year after year. Personalizing the story helps children understand why it's so important that we "never forget" this part of our world's history. We offer discounts for Title I schools and for multiple performances in the same day. Please let us work with you to make the cost of the performance accessible for your organization.
