We've just celebrated one year in our new home at the Act3 Playhouse! Ticketing in this space is general admission except for a few special tickets: If you have an accessibility need of any kind (hearing, vision, mobility, etc.), you can reserve an Accessible Seat on the front row with no steps to navigate. If you want the most desirable aisle seats in the house, you can choose a Prime Seating ticket. Every preview performance is a "Pay What You Can" ticket, at a minimum of $5.00. This deliciously funny show, based on the #1 New York Times bestselling children’s title, is all about dragons and tacos. Dragons love chicken tacos, beef tacos, big tacos, and tiny tacos. No taco is complete without salsa, but if a dragon eats spicy salsa... watch out! Great for kids from Pre-K to 3rd grade.

You’ll be transported to the Appalachian hills to hear a familiar tale with a distinctive twist. Charles Dickens’ heartfelt story of redemption is adapted by Clark Taylor, who plays all the roles, backed by a live bluegrass band. Great for the whole family.

Jonas’s world is seemingly perfect. Everything is under control, and all are safe. There is no war, fear, or pain... and no choices. Everyone in Jonas’ community is assigned a role in life. Upon turning twelve, Jonas is chosen to train under the Giver, to receive and keep the memories of a history forgotten by the public. What he learns in his time with the Giver will change Jonas’s life and the fate of his world. Suitable for ages 10 and up.

A powerful multi-media performance, this show has been performed annually at GET for 29 years. Two childhood friends of Anne Frank, Eva Schloss and Ed Silverberg, recount their stories via video as professional actors portray them on stage. Part oral history, part dramatic interpretation, this educational performance is one of the most important things we do.

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: GREATEST HITS, by Gerard Alessandri

This fast-paced production features parodies of over 20 musicals, including Les Misérables, Wicked, Annie, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, and Rent, among others. With cleverly rewritten lyrics set to familiar tunes, the show pokes fun at the quirks and clichés of these beloved productions, offering a humorous take on the world of Broadway.

More than two dozen classic hits—including “I Walk The Line”, “A Boy Named Sue”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, and the title tune—performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin’, crowd-pleasin’ salute to a unique musical legend! Though he does not appear onstage, Johnny Cash’s remarkable life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate!
